I just popped in to say Hi to everyone. I have to go make dinner. I will come in later to see what you are all up to.

Redtop, I'm not GP, but when I make them I like them to just start to turn white.

Hi, Redtop, mequilter, QIAD-Linda, and Marilynsgrammy! DH just posted a pic of my medallion in the swaps section under new spring RR. Please give me advice, it won't hurt my feelings if I should re-do it. I'd hate for everyone to do all that hard work on borders for it if it isn't up to snuff!

Wow, came back from posting the pic and lots of posts here already! Linda, hurry up and have dinner and come back to us! LOL!

I've done my fried green tomatoes with all green and just turning, both. I have a recipe that calls for part flour and part cornmeal that I really like. But, fried greens, to me, are like fabric and quilts....never met one I didn't like! LOL!

Sorry Spud, I've been in a hurry all day. I'm still in that mode--reading so fast to catch up.

Can't stay long.

GP, I haven't started the French Rose yet. About how long does each one take to make? I need to get started, but got a late start on this one. Just decided to do it and can't wait to get all those florals out and start sewing.

GP.......I think it's beautiful. There's nothing on there that needs a do-over.

Gp, I aggree. I found a mix that you add water and dip the sliced tomatoes and fry. It's 'Whistle Stop Fried Green Tomatoe Mix'. This company also makes several other mixes-toppings for fruit cobblers Yummy
