OK ... so in theory it might have worked, but in practical application, my sewing machine says HEY ... WHAT YOU TRYING TO DO TO ME?????

Needless to say it didn't like my quilted restuffed and rebacked quilt.

Any ideas? My DH says ... "should have asked first before you decided to do this" ... LOL
