Sweettea (sounds like one word here in the Southland) is about 200 times sweeter than tea with sugar.

My son and daughter have both prepared this concoction from time to time when they were working in the restaurant industry. You make a 1:1 sugar:water preparation by cooking till the sugar has melted into a syrup. Then you prepare the sweettea from that. It is S W E E T !!!

My first meal out in Georgia I asked for iced tea. Now, I hail from New York, New York...and iced tea is: tea--with ice. Imagine my surprise when I sipped on this Southern beverage. My eyes bugged out, my blood sugar rose to new heights, my hair curled....

It is an adventure unto itself.

Southerners can become dangerous when deprived of sweettea, and may suffer withdrawal symptoms.

Oh teacups, ROFLOL!!!...you said it all!!! That's probably why I caught this cold, my level of sweettea (all one word!) got too low and my system went into shock! LOL!

LOL...yes working, but coming on here always gives me a little lift to get me through my shift.

Kadie, I believe you are 16 hours ahead of the USA west coast. I know Korea is 15 hours ahead, and I think you are the next time zone over.

MastiffMum - are your girls quiet? I could bring my Pomeranian to raise incredible barking noises should danger approach, thus warning trespassers and alerting the girls at the same time to be ready for duty.

I would be very happy to accommodate one of your girls - or any portion thereof - on my lap whilst riding in the van. And probably Wolfie could sit on one of them!!!

1:1 ratio of sugar & water is a simple syrup

My DH loves sweet tea. He lived in Georgia 1.5 years. He love the BBQ there too.
