Carolyn, I bet that's fascinating work. I got to watch one of our physical therapists work with an infant in our NICU last year. What a great job she has! Funny, in eighth grade, I thought about being a physical therapist...wound up in nursing school instead, but I love the lactation field...I'm a baby junkie!
I hate it when the media whips up a frenzy by linking homeschooling to abuse! There are "mainstream" families with kids in every type of school who abuse their kids...they just don't make the news because they live a "normal" lifestyle.

Carole, I didn't realize you couldn't find your ring. Which ring was it? I am so happy for you that you found it. Debi

I just realized why I get so confused w/ whom I'm speaking with, C names!!! So many Cs and Ks on here! I think I finally "know" Debi, but everyone else I get so jumbled!
Carolyn, I've been able to work with all my kids speach troubles, but my 4-year-old still can't say her Rs and Ls very well, any recomendations? She sure tries when I ask her to, I've recently been trying to remember to make her repeat things again and again to try to say them more clearly...
There are a couple of Public School kids in our church who I can hardly understand (we're talking 7 & 8) and I wonder what's up with that? I know they play alot of video games, but I have a hard time when they try to talk to me b/c I try so hard to understand... I don't know...

I got 2 blocks done today and helped Julia (my D) with the bags she is making for her sorority sisters. She is making them for the new girls (she is one of them) in her sorority.

Carole, AMEN sister!!! lol, I love the classic, "those BAD homeschooling parents". I'm so glad we don't have a TV anymore so I don't have to listen to the ultra twisted media, not that I have to, haha, but I would, I get hooked on TV... now I'm hooked on QIAD, lol!

Hee, hee! One night at work, the unit was staffed with Car (short for Carmen), Cheryl, Carole, and Carla...just 'way too cute! sheesh!
On another night, when I worked high-risk OB, I had 3 ladies to care for: Mrs. Gonzalez, Mrs. Garcia, and Mrs. Gomez. Two of the three were also named Maria. Two of the three were diabetics needing insulin dosages. Boy, I was checking and triple checking wristbands that night!! Talk about stressful!
