there are snobs in every hobby...and you know what they never look like they are having fun..at a scrapbook retreat Izzy and I had a blast with 2 of our friends and just ignored the "you should do it this way types" and you know what we had more fun and our pages were great!

I don't understand the snobbery. I saw a lady lawyer, who made beautiful quilts. They looked more like paintings, she did people, and she commented how someone would say "my grandmother made quilts" and she said those weren't quilts-that was patchwork. I was very disappointed-she did them to relax-maybe the other lady did it for the comfort of her family- really sad part was I didn't think those quilts that lady was displaying were quite so pretty.
