Jennie, I think El lost her Dear Mother. Somebody correct me if I am wrong. I feel for the family. So sad anyway & right before the holidays. I shudder to think of my life without my Dear Parents. My Mom & I are not THAT close but I sure don't like to think of life without her.

HI Everybody

Just got home from work a little while ago... thought I'd better check up on all of you!!! Everybody having a fun Friday nite sew-in!

GP you look so comfy in your pj's and quilt!!!! and so does Daisy!!!

Of course, no sewing for me tonite, but boy am I geered up to sew tomorrow! I'm going to ignore the house mess and sew all day!!! I firmly pinned the table topper to quilt tomorrow and finished pieceing the 2nd one I have started. When I get them finished I will post pictures!! I Hope a lot of you, or ALL of you can post pictures of what you've been working on tonite, I'd love to see!!!

Seems like I'm scheduled for a lot of friday nites lately, which SUCKS, but one of these nights I'll be able to sign on early!! My computer is upstairs and the sewing room is down, so I'll be running back and forth to check in all nite long!

Hi, Jennie! I tried to fix myself up in honor of the wonderful new quilts! ROFLOL!!!

I'm about to eat a cherry turnover, then start sewing the two pillowcases I got cut out. Who else is making pillowcases? Mine are flannel, white background with large roses in three shades of blue, with a solid medium blue band and a dark navy accent strip.

Who else is still here? This has been fun, hasn't it?!! If anyone is up for it, we could do it again tomorrow night. I'm liking the motivation to get going on these projects!

Hi everyone I'm back just got everyone into bed except Zach his mom is picking him up at 11 I just love having the kids here. Emma and Elissa lost both of their parents dad to cancer and mom had kidney failure they were both very young. I was a caregiver in their home for 3 years and I knew that I knew them better than anyone else in this world so my dh and I commited to 1 weekend a month as long as they will allow us to have them. It has worked out very well they also have 2 brothers that are 14 and 17 but they are busy chasing girls right now. They live with the Aunt about10 miles from us.

Georgiapeach you and Daisy look so beautiful in the picture with your quilts. Linda your little quilt turned out so cute I love the dog bones in it. I made the lady I stay with in paducah a quilt last year and I told her that I would make her puppy (Maggie) a quilt this year you have given me a great idea.

This is fun knowing that others are here talking at the same time. Kadie the kids were so happy talking all they way were you live. Thanks

It's off to dream land for me. I have to get up early and pick up my Aunt in the morning to go out of town to my Niece's baby shower. Hopefully she will like the layette and the car seat cover that I made her. This was great, hope we can do this again
