Well if I hadn't been shop hopping last weekend I may feel different:) I did think about getting one of those Oliso steam irons but I'm going to restrain myself.

Michelle, your Pioneer Quilt is gorgeous!!

Here is my design wall full of Batik blocks. I still have lots of strips to work with and I'm just going to go ahead and keep making this as big as I can with the fabric I have left.

Michelle I have bought 5 different irons in the past 3 months, my hubby just looks at me and shakes his head - I finally went back to the Rowenta, nothing beats it steam, and I love steam :) The other irons just didn't seem to get hot enough to press the seams flat, so I guess I will just be replacing it every year, our water here is pretty hard, and if I think about it I put bottled water in it, but otherwise it will just gunk up

Carin - you can't use distilled water in irons anymore - the instructions say not to use it, why I don't know

I use distilled water and I am on my second Rowenta iron this year. I like it because it gets so nice and hot and the steam is great. It gets a lot of use!!
