I've had a long day - and an early morning tomorrow, so I'm going to call it a night. Have fun, everyone! I hope I can SEW after church tomorrow.

Gmaann.......when you put your split nine patch together, did you have any problems with the bulk in the seams? No matter how I pressed them they didn't want to lay flat.....I was really frustrated with it.

The setting I chose made it difficult to make the seams alternate directions. And I'd made ALL of the blocks before I started putting it together, so it WAS a little hard to make them lay flat. Think we could try presing some of the seams OPEN??

Oh, Caroline, I did see your pinwheel quilt and it is gorgeous! You do such nice work and quilt circles around me!

gmaan, that recipe sounds incredible! I loved your cranberry orange cake recipe you posted at Thanksgiving...ohhhh, that was so good.

Well, I sewed my first two blocks of the quilt and WOW...is it ever FUN!!!! Ya'll have got to try this. What a treat...it's quilted as you go..woo-hoo!, talk about instant gratification! LOL! I am so excited about how it's starting off so well, mainly that it's really really fun!

Well, after reading that cherry dessert recipe, I think I'll make some cinnamon toast and hot chocolate to celebrate my quilt blocks! LOL! I can find anything to celebrate if it means cinnamon toast and hot choc.! ROFLOL!

Ugh - bed bugs!! I read an article in Reader's Digest last week about the new prevalence of bed bugs. The next morning as I was trying to get back to sleep after DH left really early for a meeting, I kept feeling the bed bugs bite me!!! I had to get up, strip the bed, put the sheets in the washer, and check out the bed!! No bed bugs. The power of suggestion!!
