JW,We shouldnt have to send our guys on deployment to get enought money to live on. It's disgraceful since we do appreciate everything they do for us.
I remember seeing that program on ? about allergies & was impressed but can't remember how many allergies the child had.

Glad my house is finally clean so I can get back to the important stuff and play with my friends! Ya'll bear with me, I've been having to force myself to get my work done and I've missed ya'll soooo much!

JW you are one amazing woman and I don't even know you!! Know that your DH and all of our soldiers are in our prayers each day. We also have a son who is in the AF and two of the boys buddies are also enlisted - one AF and the other Army infantry. The one in the Army took a round in the arm during an ambush in Afghanistan last year. That one hit too close to home. He is like one of our own!! I will never forget the sound of his mom's voice when she called and told us. Prayers to you too!

We would do fine if it wasn't for DS's food allergies, DH is an E6 now(staff seargeant) so he's almost making the same amount of money someone doing his job would make in the "real" world. If they were just starting out. But he'll be able to retire in about 11 years, instead of 31, so that's really good. And we get free health care for all of us. It would be easier if I could work, but I can't with Ds's food allergies.

vagrandma, it's hard trying to operate on my one little damaged brain cell and keep up! LOL!
JW, have you heard if your DH has received his stocking yet?
grammy, I'm fighting the urge to check out the fabric!

Well, I am glad you're here GP.... I kinda wondered if you were hiding out since we hadn't heard from you in so so long.
Grammy2, I don't remember how many allergies the kid had either, but it seemed he couldn't eat hardly anything....

He hasn't yet, but he hasn't been at the FOB in a while. He should be back there before the end of the month, and he'll probably get it then. It's probably waiting for him right now, along with the Christmas box I sent him. He's been out for quite a while.
