quiltnewby05.......warm apple cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream, topped with caramel sauce & granola.......it was worth every calorie and then some. I'm glad I only ate half my dinner & brought the rest of it home. Sounds like you're making progress on the placemats. Just don't forget to pack them!

I believe my Grandaughter has about 25 of them. I have not been able to find the charms anywhere around here. I would love to start her a bracelet.

Thank you everybody for all the kind words regarding my retirement. It sure is an exciting time of life.

Barbie Jean--
Congrats -- I see you're in Omro!! Not too far from here--we'll have to let you know when MeQuilter & I go to shows / shop hops now that you're a lady of leisure:)

We are thinking of MAYBE going to a quilt show in Glendale (just north of Milwaukee) May 16.

Me
Apple Cobbler sounds good!! Wouldn't that be a hoot if I forgot the placemats? My brother would probably make me go back....

For desert tonight I had two graham cracker/peanut butter sandwiches, dipped in milk... hmmmmm

Somehow the apple cobbler sounded better than the graham crackers

Yea, the cobbler sounded a lot better.

Will keep you posted about the Glendale show. I know they have several shows down in your area too... I will probably be going to the Madison quilt expo in September... always stop in Beaver Dam on my way to go to Nancy's Notions

You can count me in for the Madison quilt expo.......I've always wanted to go to it but not with d/h or by myself. It's more fun with a fellow quilter that you can blame your purchases on, right?
