mequilter, hope you are feeling better! Ice and Advil help a lot. Doesn't it feel good to be able to eat something again?! I have some pale mint tts in the fern tone on tone and I'm dying to use it as a background on the French Roses! But, that wouldn't go with the other blocks others are sending, so maybe I'll go with a pale pink or cream?

JW, that must be hard with his allergies! If it hadn't been for Kraft mac-n-cheese when I was a divorced mom my kids would've been in a world of hurt! LOL! I'm surprised they still like the stuff!

grammy, don't tempt me to go look at the sale fabrics...you know I have absolutely -0- willpower! I mean zilch!

The doc says it's possible he'll outgrow it, but it's not likely he'll outgrow the milk allergies. My brother has been allergic to milk his entire life, as well as others in the family, so he'll probably have that forever. That's not the hardest one to deal with though, oddly enough the hardest are corn and soy. They're in everything!

Quiltqueen.....thanks & by the way, Welcome!! It's a Split Nine Patch and the blocks are 12 1/2 unfinished. Four rows of three each & it'll be a lap size. It's for the Breast Cancer quilts that we're making.

That figure is actually without soda, flavored water, the filter for the Pur pitcher, or diapers for him. If I have any left over, that's when I get drinks for me, otherwise it's just water or juice(which I have to buy for him anyway).

mequilter, the quilt is beautiful! A pink border will look so nice on it!

Tulpje, teenage boys...boy do I remember those days with their appetities! My oldest son was in football and he ate more than our entire family! I used to buy the 6 lb. boxes of tortilla chips and gallon jugs of salsa at Sams just so the rest of us could have a taste! LOL! I was in gymnastics in HS and my mom said the same thing about me, too! Eatin machines!
