Sharon, since this isn't due until February, I'd love to help with this project.

If Peach can send me the pattern I'll try to find some tropical fabric...all that fabric in my stash and I don't have any tropical! lol! I do have some "brights" that might work, but I'll wait to hear from you on what you really prefer.

You guys are great!!

joanne, that would be great. in this and future posts, please ignore bad punctuation, my right hand is in a sling and typing one finger left handed is exhaustig! in any case, mary, that is so cute! Brights would be great. As the time for HDD gets closer, Karla may want some other themed bags to go i the silent auction baskets. the only quilting in the pattern i have is in the flip flop panel. A parrot, a beach umbrella, any thing "parrothead
'ould be cool.
I cannot begin to tell you all how much this means to me. When my youngest son brett was in hs, we sent him to a boys ranch, and they really helped him a lot. qcph just gave them 3500 to fix a bridge, so they have given money to a group close to my heart. Thanks to all of you for helping me with this.

I'd be delighted to send you one or two (or more depending on difficulty and what's in my stash!) Send me the pattern and I'll pull some tropical or beach fabric from my stash.

I'm just waiting on the pattern. I did want to ask, does this have to be quilt shop fabric or is Hancocks/Joanne's okay. I don't have any tropical fabric so I will need to get some. Just want to make sure before I buy.

I got one finished, and they go together surprisingly fast! In orderto keep me from being bored, I told myself I would do 1 after each finished applique block of the baby quilt I am working on. That will give me 9 by the time I am done with that quilt. The first one is always the longest time and it took about 4 hours, so at that rate I should be able to get quite a few done. MaGGIE i love THAT IN THE FABRICS YOU CHOSE, AND NO THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE TROPICAL, JUST SUMMER-Y AND FUN!

I have to give a HUGE THANKS SO VERY VERY MUCH FROM THE BOTTOMS OF MY TOES to MAryq who sent a large box full of zippered totes, I have to say they are way nicer than the ones i made. I think I will buy one of hers my self! will take pics as soon as I have a second, but I wanted to publicly thanks her. This project got derailed quite a few times a midst all of the hubbub and Mary kept at it is and never let me down.. I cannot begin to thank her properly.. Mary... you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
