Re: Friday April 4 Sew-In
I arrived home from shop hopping with Carolyn in time for my DH and I to go sign our tax forms and then go to dinner. I just hot the car unloaded and am looking at fabric. I need to pink it tonight so I can was it tomorrow. I will then try to work on one of the May lotto blocks this evening.

Hi All,
Is anyone still here or have we given up for the night. I am working on some binding for a wall quilt. It was a kit for a wall hanging I bought at the balloon festival in New Mexico few months ago.

Re: Friday April 4 Sew-In
Hi All, just got home and DH had supper ready to put on the table and now I am here with you. I have tons to do and don't really know where to begin. Tomorrow will be filled with errands and then I can spend most if not all of Sunday right here.
Sounds like our shop hop ladies had a great time today and those going tomorrow will too.
Glad to hear that GP's MIL arrived and the storms have skirted her area. Should be a wonderful weekend for all of them, great fun for grandmonkey to have her great-gma there.
Carol, you are good at guilt!! LOL Don't worry we are here for you, can chat for a while and may even take some time to sew.
SFOQuilter, how is the baby quilt coming? I am sure your coworker will love it and so will the mom to be.
Maryq, how are you doing on the mystery blocks? I really need to get busy on mine.......maybe I should join you. I have to finish up my SBS also. Guess I don't have to wonder about what to do afterall. LOL
Happy stitching!!

Hi Debi - Sounds like you have a very busy weekend planned. Today I had a couple of my quilting friends over and we quilted together from 9 am until 3:30 pm. Of course, we did stop and went out to Olive Garden for Soup and Salad lunch. It was such a great day and I got this wall hanging done - can't beat that.

Re: Friday April 4 Sew-In
Carol, some of my favorite sewing days have included friends over, lots of snacks and most of the time I spent more time chatting and visiting than sewing. I am impressed that you were able to get so much done and go have lunch. I may have to come visit so you can give me lessons!
