Tul, glad to hear you are getting plenty of rest! I know it's awful to be so sick...but don't fight that urge to nap...it will give your body more energy for healing.

gmaann - What are you making for dessert?

I just put a lemon chiffon cake in the oven and need to bake a chocolate cake as well. I want to peel potatoes and cut them for the scalloped potatoes. I also need to get the vegetables ready for the appetizers.

I will talk later.

The Elegant Cherry Dessert is chilling in the refrigerator, and the Applesauce Cake is cooling on the rack. No stitches in the borders, but I'm too pooped to worry about that tonight.

Lemon Chiffon sounds yummy, Quilter7!

Oh gmaann that sounds so good. You should be tired - you have done a lot of work today.

Hi--
It's been kind of a bummer weekend.... yesterday I couldn't go to Milwaukee to visit my son for the weekend, because they got 10" of snow!!!!!!!!

I was glad to be able to quilt all day, but did a lot of ripping too -- I'm wondering if I'll get the hang of working with narrow strips.

Then tonight Marquette (my favorite Wisconsin college - where my son went) lost to Stanford in overtime by only one point!!! Actually, they weren't even supposed to do that well, because we don't have many really tall guys like they did.

Oh well... my eyes are pretty tired -- not sure how long I'll stay up yet.

Hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow -- Carole I hope all your baking goes well:)

Hi all ~ Back from errands, grabbed supper while I was out so I wouldn't have to fuss with that when I got back. We have eaten, dishes are done and now I am here for the evening. I have a total mess in my sewing room and really should straighten it up before I start on anything else but..............I really don't want to! So I am on to mystery blocks and after that I want to work on SBS. DD would love if I worked on her quilt top but that is a project for next weekend.

What are you all working on? Debi

Welcome back Debbi! I am working on charity quilts now for the guild.
We donate them to the veterans and for children and women who have been abused and are in a safe house. Sometimes the kids arrive there with nothing - so they cling to the quilts.
