Carole,
I have read about this is our local paper. This is a wonderful thing you are doing.

Our minds must be working together, i just bought fabric to make a quilt for a local 3 y/o that is in Children's. She is getting chemo for a neuroblastoma. I too, thought that it would be too sad to quilt but I'm finding that it isn't. Just got the fabric washed and may do a log cabin since it's fast. I need to get this to her family right away.

Hopefully, your organization will not need your blankets. Ya know what I mean?

Sharon, does Childrens' Hospital need quilts? That would be a fun thing to do, too...

Carole,
I don't know about Childrens Hospital. I did have that on my mind to make premie blankets also. I know the guidelines are different & they are smaller.
I was also going to check with our local Women's Resouce Center for abused women & children & see if they could use quilts.

Let me know how it goes.

Sharon, darling, we are definitely on the same track with regard to charities...I was thinking of the Womens Resource Center as well, just a couple days ago!

If you investigate this organization and find they will accept quilts, would you let me know? I would love to offer them some as well.

Ladies....let's see some quilts! LOL

No *real* hurry as patience is a virtue and all that. I just know I'll be inspired by what you've done and what you're willing to give of yourselves.

I have finished 3 small quilts for the Garden of Innocence; have two more in progress. Sadly, there is a service for a baby girl tomorrow. I am working, otherwise I would go.
