A new template may be just the answer. I have never worked on them so I can't really help but I understand how you feel. Keep your chin up and don't let it get to you. Check back soon and let us know how you are doing. Back to laundry, I wish I was making templates. LOL

I have to get these blocks done by Monday, we are hosting a French Student for 2 weeks and he will be staying in the guest/sewing/craft room/ Right now I am spread out in the dining room..so there is a motivation to get this done! I am doing samples with cute fabric I want to have it mastered before I start in with the fabric I bought for the swap.

Bill and I will be married 20 years in June and he has always done his own so I only have to do mine. But since I would rather quilt and sew than do laundry or housework I sometimes have a mountain to catch up like today. LOL Maybe if I have him to do mine too I can finally make a quilt for us to keep. After all this time I still have never kept one for us, isn't that just the way most of us are. Someday................well one can dream. LOL

I should be able to finish quilting my quilt soon. The last time I turned it, I can see the last border. GOODY-GOODY!!! An end to this one will be welcome.

Hi everyone!! Looks like the sew-in is off to a great start today. Debi, so glad you're back, we missed you. Hi Carolyn & Redtop & Grammy2 & Jennie............what kind of "trouble" do you suppose we could get into tonight? I'm going to be working on some squares for the Breast Cancer quilts, found some gorgeous pink at JoAnns & some pretty background material to use.

howdy to all i will jsut be chatting no sewing i am work and one and only hand project and everyone knows you cant type and hand stitch at same time lol

i am making a christmas tree skirt - i got the felt before my surgery and have so far made 3 sets of mittens - first i did not feel like sewing imagine that dh thought the world was ending lol and then i got sew discouraged decide i would not put garbage on my floor so laid it aside - had a customer call one afternoon to check on me and ask how my project was coming she had seen the fabric before my surgery when she was dropping off quilts i told her she could have it so God Bless her she spent an extremely long time on the phone talking me through stitch by stitch - with her encouragement i started again and it will be cute when finished will post eventually

the skirt is round of course and has 8 pairs of mitten around the outer edge and embellisments in the center of course i have trouble following a pattern so after the first pair i altered the second and by the third i was off on my own

and oh yeah girls as fabualous as my dh is if i let him do laundry he would be wearing pink underwear and i would be naked lol when we first got married he shrunk and outfit of mine so much i am not sure barbie would have fit in it and his underwear was pink lol

My sewing tonight will be putting the letters, year, and a name on a high school letterman jacket. It can be as satisifying as any other type of sewing and does make me a few extra $$, but not as pretty. Then, I might be able to work on a "broken heart" pattern that I have found. I have been working on a crocheted blanket for a gal I work with that is pregnant with their first child. This will be the first time I have ever crocheted something for another person. I usually buy something and then fancy it up. Hopefully, this turns out really well. If I get really good at the quilting thing, I might even do a quilt for them.

Great fun going on out there! Lots of fabric, yarn and stitching happening and I for one wouldn't want it any other way. Debi
