I guess I can't complain if I still can sit outside on the patio in the mornings in my jammies with my coffee?
Cold at night tho. LOL mid 40's?

Hello everyone! DH and DD#3 just left to meet some friend and play video games at Dave and Busters so I am home alone. Yeah!!!
I just posted a couple of pictures in the photo section of my flannel French Rose Pillow cover and a swivel mat that DH made for me.
I have been cleaning the old sewing room, there are threads all over the place, I hate carpeting. If I could only covince DH that it would be best to take it out of my sewing room.

Hi DewDew...house all to yourself? That's nice....DH went down the road to a friends house for awhile and I decided to stay home. I love it when it's this quiet.

Hello, everyone! We just got back from celebrating our 9-year-old grandson's birthday. I don't think I'll get to do much sewing tonight, but I will be getting my take-along-machine ready and packed for some projects I'll be doing next week.
Tul...I've been working on sample sandwiches for a couple of weeks trying to get the hang of free-motion quilting. Please let me know how it goes. So far my meandering looks long and skinny, not the plump pretty look I would like to achieve.

Hi, ya'll! Well, I'm 30 min. late for the party! LOL! I got the whole quilt cut out and after dinner will start sewing! Yippee! I'm making it out of flannel, it's for my dad and he gets cold a lot, so I think he'll love this. If you want to check out what I'm working on, go to www.baysidequilting.com and on the left hand side of the screen click on "Fun & Done" and there's a good video of how these quilt-as-you-go patterns are made.
I should cut quilts out more often...DH and DS are cooking dinner and have the nicest fire in the fireplace. It is so pretty up here, and peaceful! When we first got here DH took Daisy for a walk and the neighbor's gorgeous Golden Retriever came to play....my Daisy behaved like a little rabid badger/troll! She was awful to that dog! She was on her leash (she's a hunting Beagle and if she got on the scent of wildlife we wouldn't be able to catch her for 6 mountains over! LOL!) She just doesn't play well with other dogs and she also runs with scissors! LOL! Boy that Golden Retriever was a beautiful and good natured dog!

Hello everyone. I wanted to say hi and see what yall are working on before I go to the sewing room and forget time. I have 2 porojects going, some work on the border for my Fall Auto. quilt & yep...another danged Camouflage quilt to piece. UGH! Oh well. I then have an OU quilt to make. Gotta figure out the design for it. One of our friends thinks he is in love wiht a student at the Okla. University so he ordered her a quilt.
Yall know how I ranted and raved about the Bamboo batting? After the quilt is washed it REALLY REALLY crinkles like an antique quilt. So IMHO I think it would be great for traditional type quilts. I feel that Wool is my all around fav. batting. Just wanted to share my opinion. LOL
