I'm cutting strips to do a Pineapple Blossom quilt from Quiltville, but I'm also cutting out extra strips and 5 1/2" squares for a flying geese quilt. This way I don't have to put part of a FQ back into the box, it all gets cut into strips and put in boxes.

Hi All! Ill be here for a minute. I'm working on finishing the buttonhole stitch on my Baltimore Blues blocks, one for anoter RR and one for the BOM. Then I promised DD we'd watch a movie. She got her hair cut and colored today. She's happy with the color but she's always sorry when she gets it cut shorter then normal.

I just found a program called the Science of Star Wars on the Science channel. I think I'm going to take a break from cutting...I'm a huge Star Wars geek....

I will be with y'all in spirit tonight...I am going to sit this one out, though. This rotten flu has hung on for more than a week and I am just now at the point where I am feeling up to doing anything...so today I did the "Zoom, zoom, zoom!", took down Christmas decorations, did some decluttering, paid bills, did some laundry...

My feet are tired! Anyone sewing tomorrow night, too?

I will mostly be cutting. I am fairly new to things and just this morning watched El's video "Don't Fence Me In" - so I wanted to try it.

The other one I'll be cutting is a modification of the Weathervane block. Won't be nearly as quick.

Hope I can concentrate to work on two at a time.

Hi everyone ((((wave))))) ((((Hugs))))

I will probably lurk but may feel like talking in a bit. My grandbabies left today and I'm just winding down. They are so much fun but a lot of work.

Hello! I can only stay on board a moment. We have guests and have been out all day playing in the quaint shops in Fredericksburg, Texas. Anyone who has ever visited that fair town knows how much fun (and trouble) you can get in there! We will be leaving shortly with our guests for dinner. So...no sewing for me this weekend.

GP, sorry you're not feeling great...get better.
Redtop and Jameswife, I'll be starting a Quiltville project in the near future, too. I love Bonnie's website.
Tulpje, enjoy your new light!

Hello Ladies - I'm working on my fench rose blocks, need to cut out more background squares, don't have enough of the green material for the leaves so I'll be searching through my stash to find something that matches halfway decent :)
