I am sharing the latest e mail from her that I just received...as you can see,she needed and appreciated the card shower. Thank you all for doing that... here is the e mail...



Dear Friend, I just got your email, don't know why I had not gotten any emails all week and then found six of them here this morning. I got the lovelist surprise in our mailbox on Thursday night. It had been such a hectic day, we had company old friends came to see Ron and then it stormed and rained and I didn't get the mail until late that night. There was a package and I counldn't figure out who would be sending me a package. What a lovely surprise to find it was a card shower, and to think it was from women all over the country that don't even know me. I was so touched and brought to tears, all the encouragement and prayers!!!!! I know you are behind it and well thank-you dear friend it did help me get through yesterday. I will be going on the forum and thanking those dear ladies as soon as I can get it all together. There were some pieces of fabric in some of the cards but no blocks.

I guess I can honestly say yesterday was the worst day of my life. We went to Cleveland and first he was to get a tube changed as it was leaking around the bandage and they thought it was plugged up. They decided to change both of them and put in larger tubes. Then they found out it wasn't the tube leaking but it is fluid from the adomen. Then after recovery we went to see the surgeon hoping against hope that he could do surgery, but that isn't possible as the cancer is too far into the liver. Next we are to see an Oncologist. I don't know how much time he has yet, my prayer is that he won't have to go through too much pain. Oh, and then we found out the tubes were a waste of time as they are going to have to go in and put a permanent long stent into the bile duct. So he is suffering through all of this for nothing. We suspected that it wasn't going to be a good outcome. I have been seeing so many things happening to him like it did in my brother and I don't think he has much longer, he has gotten so thin and can't eat much.

Sorry it has taken me so long to answer your email, I just thought I hadn't gotten one yet. Just wanted to let you know what is going on and thank you for all your prayers and etc. Love, L
