My sister and niece
FIrst, I don't want anyone to think that I am asking for anything for free, there are so many kind hearted and generious people here. Our niece who is 33 found out two days ago that she has stage 2 and stage 3 invasive ductal breast cancer. She is 33. This girl battled hodgkins stage 4 when she was 14 and won, spot on her lung at 20 and won, thyroid cancer at 27 and won, has a wonderful husband and two children which she was told she never would have. She is tough, really tough. My sister on the other hand is a gentle sweet loving caring soul. When our son passed and I went down to visit my niece to see her new baby she had made me a comfort quilt to "keep me company". I am working on something for her now as I have always made her things. My sister is very small structured, peitie. WOuld anyone have a comfort quilt that they would be willing to sell me? A funny story about our niece, when she was born I crocheted her an afgan. She carried around her b until our son was born and then gave it to him. I put it away and when she graduated high school and was headed to college I gave it to her, you should have seen her face. I am sorry to ramble on here but we are waiting for the appointments on friday to see if one or two of her, as she puts is "boob issues" are going. Thank you

Re: My sister and niece
I just recieved yet another wonderful bag of fabric scraps, although some are actually cut pieces. I think I am going to throw all the fun ones together and make my sister a very simple "nanna's snuggle quilt" those little guys are gonna need there nana and pappa during all this so bright, fun, big squares will be the way to go. Thank you carol for your offer, I really feel that a fun, bright quilt is the way I should go. Thanks everyone.
