Thank you for my quilt - posted under chit chat too
I wanted to make sure that everyone saw my thank you note for my quilt:
For a couple of years, I have participated in projects on the forum sporadically as time allowed and sent money on occasion to help. I would read the responses of the recipients and sometimes with my humorous sarcastic personality would think maybe the responses were exaggerated a bit. I am here to tell you that I was wrong about that. I totally understand now how wonderful it feels to know that so many of you cared about me and wanted to do something for me when I was so down. Whether you were able to send a heart block, send a card, send me a PM, post on one of my rambling explanations about trigeminal neuralgia, said a prayer, or even had a positive thought directed my way; I am truly humbled by your kindness and expressions of concern for me and my well being while I have dealt with this illness. It goes without saying that each beautiful heart block will always have a special meaning to me as well as the gorgeous result that Pam achieved using her masterful talent designing, arranging and constructing the quilt. The label is beautiful and I could not believe how many of you were willing to do this for me especially during such a busy time of the year. You are truly the best "imaginary friends" (my husband and brother call the forum this) a person could possibly have. As I sat with my quilt on my lap opening the cards and reading the notes and looking at the special little surprises, tears were rolling down my face and my big ole labrador retriever looked at me like "Oh no, she's starting this crying again" and he began gathering his toys and putting them in my lap like he did for almost 4 months. I am so much better than 5 months ago. I still am on meds and have some pain but it is nothing compared to what it was. You and this forum were a critical part to keeping me going during this nightmare and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Nobody can send a bundle of love and concern like "El's Angels". Pat yourself on the back...you are the best!
Love,
Cyber-Sue
PS: I forgot to add that Peach posted a picture of my quilt under projects from the heart so be sure to take a look at it. Pictures really don't do it justice. It is really beautiful.

Sue, I am so glad you are feeling better!!! I told Peach when I sent the blocks that she could pick which one she liked and "dumpster" the rest! LOL! But, as you know, they were all beautiful in her eyes...
I'm just so happy that you are pleased! Take care and get better and better...you are a special person!
hugs,
Joanne:0)
