Update on Projects

Post by dsf618 » Fri Mar 13, 2009 4:26 am

I have been a bit busy lately and have lost touch with Angel projects - shame on me!

I just read about Evelyn and the quilts and hope to make some blocks this weekend.

I also received the pattern from lifeisgrand for the service people stockings.

What else is going on that I have missed?

We seem to have stalled on the Breast Cancer Blocks......Lori (zfatcat) has graciously been helping out with this. However, she has quite a few that do not measure up to the 12 1/2" that we need in order to make the tops. If you by any chance have any 12 1/2" orphans in need of a home, please contact her & she will gladly accept these. Any questions you can post under the thread. Thanks for your help with these in the past & in the future. It's a shame that we need to continue to have these on hand for our friends & loved ones. But, until a cure is found, let's do what we can to make their time more comforting. Thank you for your ongoing support.

I have a few that size; my niece designed them for a BC quilt last year, we have a few leftover.

Pink, white and purply, will those work?

I will make a few more blocks for the bc projects.
I also can help out buying some batting and pink ribbon flannel for the backing.

Do I send them to you or to Lori.

Lisa received her quilt tonight. She was very impressed with her quilt and extremely happy. We called it her badge of honor, since by now she has lost ALL of her hair.
