Re: Friday Sept.12 sew-in
This is so upsetting. This is really the first time I've known anyone who's in the path of something like this. Everyone is in my prayers, of course, but I just wish I could do more.
Pam. if you can't lift what's left you'll just have to sew. Darn.
Of course, the wreck in CA. was terrible, too. I've been following the reports online. Someone from Metrolink said they didn't know who hit whom. I guess that matters when the legal stuff starts, but right now the well being of the passengers should be their main concern.
Back to the sewing room, such a chore!! DH has been gone a week and I'm ready for him to come home.

Pam...my H does all of the cooking when my i got his text message the first thing Betsy said was she bet it was John wondering how long he had to hold dinner...when I read his text message outloud we started giggling..and so did a couple of other ladies near us
Cindy..be safe....
The train accident is all that is on here. The last i heard the death toll was at least 5. The train could carry more than 300 so the death toll is expected to rise. How can there be a head on accident on a train track/

Oh, I hate to hear of that train wreck, how tragic!
Rosie, I think you're right, I have no choice except to sew for awhile! LOL! What a rough job, but someone's got to do it, huh?! LOL!
Dear Cindy, if your computer comes back on and you see this, please know that I am praying and keeping you in my heart and thoughts thru this ordeal. I hope to hear from you soon so I'll know you're ok. Hang in there, sweetie! And if/when I hear from Cindy I'll be sure to relay her message to ya'll right away. I know all of us feel so helpless and worried and concerned and heartsick about this storm and all in its' path. Let's just pray our hearts out tonight and put it in God's hands. I doubt Cindy will be back online tonight, but she knows she's in our prayers and hearts, and that must make her feel better. I know ya'll have felt like I do, not really knowing what to say to her and wanting to help and can't, it's just so scary to know people are facing this kind of thing and not being able to do anything except worry about them. I hope we all wake up to news in the a.m. that's more comforting than what we've heard tonight! I'm going to go to bed now, ya'll sleep well! Oh, and if I haven't told ya'll lately, I love ya'll so dearly and you mean the world to me! Toodles......

Dear Friends in harms way,
I am praying for you tonight and asking God to turn that storm back out to sea. I pray that you can feel our support and love coming your way. I pray for the Lord's peace and calm to surround you and hold you close. Just remember, you are all loved and cared for.
I will keeping praying!
Linda

Re: Friday Sept.12 sew-in
It's going to be a long night for a lot of us-and longer for others. Praying for everyone in the path of this storm. We saw the news earlier with folks partying on a beach bar. There was an interview with the bartender who was serving the drinks, and she said they would stay open till the police closed them down. Lord have mercy, those people, what about their families, and ones who love them. This could be heartbreaking before it's over.
