Happy 4th of July....Friday Sew in

Our company just left so I thought I would see if anyone was around. We had a great cookout and then watched the fireworks show put on by the Air Force base about a mile away. We walked out and sat on the street curb across the street in front of our house to watch. It was the perfect spot with a great view then followed that up with a dessert of apple crisp and vanilla ice cream. It turned out to be a fun evening with DD#2 and her boyfriends Dad, Sister, Brother-in-law and kids.

Michelle, I see you made it to JoAnns. Yes the batting was 50% off, the coupon I had was for an extra 10% off the total purchase. I might go back tomorrow and get some more batting, I need to stock up for Christmas gifts.

Hey MaryEllen, can't wait to see your tote! I was so good tonight. I got binding sewed onto two quilts before I started cutting another project. I still have to hand sew them but at least they are ready for when I need a break from piecing etc.

Michelle ~~ I got it all done!! I am so excited, but I've stayed up way too late. Need to get up for work in 6 1/2 hours, thank goodness it's only for 3 1/2 hours tomorrow. I'll post pics then. Have a good night & sweet dreams!!
