I found a patter at the LQS for a charm quilt. It calls for 50 charm squares. I bought the pattern but it really looks easy enough to copy. I'm the kind of person who has to have a pattern tell me what to do.

Any way, it's called Scalloped Charm from

Okay I am back here cause I am frustrated!
There is to much background white in several of the charms for me to use white in between. It washes it out. I looked at a purple but there is no purple in it and it just seemed to dark. I am going to have to pull all my tubs-o-fabric out of the closet. To tired to do that right this second.
On the brighter side I do have all the half square blocks done for both quilts.

Hey Kids:
Isn't it great to spend a day sewing. I did a little of this and a little of that most of the day. I too am now about to put my final border on. About time, as it is a wedding present. The wedding was in April. Woops not done on time...... Hope the rest of the night owls will get a lot accomplished tonight..
Happy Quilting,
Ruth/iamruth

Good Evening Gals

Just checkin' in with y'all before I get my coffee pot ready for morning (Love automatic start--it's done by the time I crawl out of bed)

sounds like everybody has had a busy day! I didn't leave the house all day! Feel like such a bum! But I finished the baby quilt I started yesterday and got 4 blocks done for Cindyb. Posted pictures in the PHOTO topic. Thought I had enough of the background fabric for the backing for the baby quilt, but just couldn't squeeze it in, unless I perhaps piece the back somehow. Might stop at Joann tomorrow on the way home from work and pick up some soft blue flannel for the back. Since the baby isn't due until July, I have a little time to work on it. It will be only my 2nd or third attempt to actually quilt on my machine, so I'm promising myself to be really careful and do a really good job on it!

Well, time to get that coffe pot going!
Have a great week every one
