Shirting Fabric

Watched a program where they used "shirting fabric" in a quilt. I never seen this at JoAnns or WalMart, where can you find it?

I don't think it's labeled shirting fabric as such, although some may be; it just has the look of something you would make a shirt from (usually a man's). I know of someone who actually went to thrift stores and bought men's shirts to cut up & make a quilt from.

I think QC is right, I've seen very few bolts marked as 'shirting' fabric but you might do a search on the net .........just a thought.

They have it at the Joann's where I live. Ask the staff, it might be hidden amoung other clothing fabrics.
