Quilt top using fabric travel patches

Post by Gypsy18 » Thu Nov 15, 2018 12:08 pm

We have bee saving these fabric travel patches for years. I plan on stitching them onto 5" square pre cut pieces of fabric. Should I use a stabilizer? If so, what type please.

Personally I wouldn't use stablizer - the patches should be fairly stiff and probably don't need another layer. You might consider fusible to anchor it well enough to stitch them down, or even an adhesive spray. To be honest, I have never used stabilizer on anything (I don't do machine embroidery though).
