cyclone quilt

Post by dskorepa » Thu May 31, 2018 6:10 pm

I have this pattern that my daughter would like me to make. The finished size is 41x51. I need it to fit a queen size bed. How many more blocks do I need to make to meet the standard size queen bed?

Beds vary in size. But the average queen , across the top is 60" x 80". That does not include any drop down either side or the the foot of the bed. The best way to determine finish size is to measure the bed it is going on. Mattresses vary widely in how thick they are. And whether you are using dust ruffles, etc.

Good luck,
Jana
