What is the dimension for a queen size quilt

What is the size of the Day and night Quilt block? After they are seamed together?

The top of a queen mattress is 60 x 80,, so you need to measure down the side of the mattress and box spring, if there is one, to determine the drop you want. Mattresses come in so many thickness, that it is hard to give just one size to fit all. Remember to add the side depth twice, one for each side of the mattress and then to the length as well.. Also add more if you want it to tuck up and over the pillows.

So the measurement can and will get big!

I have made and taught quilting classes on the Day night block and can't remember the finished size, but I think it is 10". It is smaller than the usual 12 inch blocks that are common.

I just finished my Day and Night quilt. The blocks are finished at 12"
Queen size took 42 blocks. 6 x 7. 94" x 106".

There are two sizes,

60*80

90*108

for myself, bought 60*80 quilt from https://www.reecoupons.com/view/nest-be ... st-bedding.

It pretty gets along with my bed.
