Calculating Borders

Post by sewhappypatty » Sat Nov 19, 2016 10:09 am

I need to find a calculator that estimates borders that are cut on the lengthwise grain of fabric. How do I figure this?

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you explain it to me in another way?
The way I read it you are looking to cut borders from a fabric. It seems that the length of the fabric would dictate the length of the strip ( border ) . If you want to know how many strips you would get, you would need the size ( width ) of each border to figure that out.
Sorry I'm not much help. If I understood better, I might be able to help you more.
Joan
