Quilt in a Day Forums

Directions for my cat quilt say to make whiskers from waxed thread. Exactly what is that?...I have seen all kinds on the internet. Is it just thread that is waxed with Thread Heaven? Is it thicker than regular thread? Is it stiff? Where can I find some to make my cat whiskers, which I know need to be a little stiffer than just regular thread. Thanks for any help.

What comes to mind is some clear plastic thread, found in craft section.

I got ahold of a friend who made a quilt with little bunnies on it...She said she used the thread heaven on the bunnie's whiskers and said it worked great.......hope that helps..Sonya.
