I met Elenor at the Houston Quilt Festival. I bought the Honeycomb pattern and want to make a twin size quilt with it. Can someone tell me how to size it up?

hmmm, is the honeycomb quilt the same as the hexagon quilts? I don't recall ever hearing of the honeycomb pattern. Will have to search it out.

Okay, I found the video and it sounds like a finished block will be 4 inches. So now I just need to do some calculating, and will get back to you. Maybe some one else will come along and have some help for you as well.

Joyce, without having the pattern or templates I have some rough calculations for you. There are two sets depending on whether you want to make a twin comforter or a twin bedspread. The numbers may not be exact as I am not totally sure how the directions are wanting you to put them together.
comforter approx. measurements 65x88
330 hexagons at 15 across per row and 22 rows down, and 704 triangles.
bedspread approx.. measurements 81x107
486 hexagons at 18 across per row and 27 rows down, and 1026 triangles.
Hope this helps you get started.
