Many years ago, I was a hexiholic . I was so far gone I made a queen size Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt. When I feel a relapse coming on, I look at that quilt and get controll again. It is hard, and I so loved my hexiies of choice, but I had to give it up and move on to other forms of quilting. But I have to be honest and confess since my hexi recovery I started doing stuffed cathedral windows. This is another long addiction and maybe in another year I will be strong enough to give this one up too. Then I will be a recovered hexiholic and windowholic . I will pry for your recovery.

here is mine... it's been sewn together a bit more since this picture, but it's still a work in progress...
most of this was made in the dead of night, during a time when i was night shift... some of the other girls chose to 'doze' while i refused and actually put together a whole 'segment' each night...
it will be completed 'one day'...
i find the hand sewing very therapeutic!!

awesome setting...I love it too....Maybe this thread wasn't such a good idea....now I have more quilts running through my head saying "Make Me", No! Make me! yikes!

I started sewing mine together with a white fourth joining ring. This is going to be queen size to fit my bed

I also told my girls this quilt is the one going over my coffin when I die. So I guess if I work REAL slow I'll live a LONG time. LOL

I never thought of putting diamonds between my hexi's... great idea.. I will get a picture soon.. mine are just hexi's all sewn together.. you girls have some beautiful projects going...
