Quilt in a Day Forums

I am doing my first time straight stitch applique. Is there anything I can do to keep it straight? I am doing a bear and a tree.

Just wanted to let everyone know I was able to work it out and am very satisfied with the way it looks.

So glad you figured it out I to am learning hand appliqué I use lots of the small appliqué pins.
