what?
I was reading an article in a magazine about using stash and how to match it together. Some of it she put together because she said it had the same level of saturation? Ok, so I could see how the backgrounds were similar and am wondering if that is what she meant. Anyone else know?

Re: what?
depth of the color - I have a ruler - it is pink and when you use it - all the color of what you are looking at through it, disappears and all you see is the depths of the colors.
I too read that article on what goes together - some times I listen to the rules and other times I break them - just do as I please! I can be a rebel! LOL

The red thing is called a "Ruby Beholder". Don't have one but I hear they work great.

Re: what?
Another quick way to check saturation is to take a photo with your smart phone then convert it to black/white. I have the red tool too but when shopping I use the phone and compare fabrics. Great way to get the light/med/dark saturation without being distracted by color

Re: what?
Great tips, you should add them to the thread in "Chit Chat".
