Fuzzy 'batting' Question

I have a throw blanket that is a really soft fuzzy chenille sort of thing that is SOOOOOO fuzzy I don't want to use it any more. I have to get out a lint roller every time someone moves it. If I used it for batting for a throw quilt, would it still be a fuzzy problem through the seams of the quilt? Or would it get lumpy in places between stitches? I don't really think it is fair to give it to someone else because they would have the same problem with constant lint.

What do you suggest???

If you don't want to give it away or use it as is, why not make a cute little doggy blanket and use this for batting? It shouldn't come thru the fabric but will be loved, warm, and useful. If you don't have a dog, donate it to a local shelter. Some little doggy would love you for it (or a kitty or two as well). Just a thought and they don't mind lumps and fuzzy stuff. That's a good idea, Shirley Mae. Maybe I'll do that instead.
