Hello everyone,
This is my first post and I need some help! I am working on and Egg Money Quilt and the square is a Christian Cross. In the book she keeps referring to a "half-strip". Some of the strips are 12" does that mean to cut half strips 6, or does it mean cut the strip in half down the middle. I am at a stand still with my cutting because I am afraid to cut and make a mistake.
Thanks for a swift response:)

A strip is usually cut the width of fabric (wof) a half strip is a wof cut in half, so a wof=45" and a half strip=22". Half strips are easier to sew and press and not distort.

Hope this helps.
