WOuld anyone be able to tell me, wthout breaking copyright rules, the size of the block that the french rose goes on? I think this is a wonderful pattern that I might give a try but without the pattern in hand yet, I was thinking I could at least cut out the blocks at camp this weekend (well at least that sounds like a plan). Thanks so much.

What I would do is cut out one set of flowers..center the flower .then leave a few inches all around the flower...see what size suits you...remember it is your quilt...play with it and then decide what size you want your blocks...

Chrissy - look at these patterns first. They are free and you can download the pattern onto your computer and print it out. As long as you follow her copy wright rules.

The flower pattern is very similar to the french rose.

Do you have a certain size quilt in mind. I can tell you very quickly how many blocks and the size the blocks must be to made a king, queen, double or twin size quilt.
