Flying Geese

Post by teddybear73 » Sun May 17, 2009 9:37 am

Hello Everyone,

I am going to start my next project. The next project is going to be a flying geese quilt for our bed. I am going to make the geese out of dark pinks, light pinks, dark purples and light purples. Could I just use white or an ivory for the sky when using these colors or is there another color out there that would look great with these colors and should I use the same color for the backing? Your opinions and comments will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Jo;

Here's my opinion: I would probably stay with white or ivory or tone on tone white or ivory for your sky. Anything else might take away from your beautiful geese. Backing...I generally use muslin type fabric or a solid color..it's easier for me to quilt.

Best of luck with your quilt!!
