Quilt in a Day Forums

I was watching qiad on pbs today and she showed a quilt and she called it goose egg quilt. I have searched the web for hours and can't find anything. Does anyone know about this pattern?

Can't remember if it was uyesterday or today if she was showing Irish Chain and Double Irish Cain. didn't know she was on that last in the AM. OK with me.

Do you ever get to the Sturgis Motor Cycle Rally in Stugis SD? I lived in Rapid City, until I moved here (Denver_ in Oct. RC is my birthplace, but have not lived there much until I moved back from St. Louis in 1976. Rapid is growing so fast. Couple of nice quilt shops there. Let me know if you want their addresses.

I have a similar pattern, not exactly the same. In the Double wedding ring add on template book by Sharlene Jorgenson there's a robbing Peter to pay Paul quilt that is almost the same. You need that book and the double wedding ring templates to do it. Hope this helps some.

And yes Helen we make the Sturgis rally, last time we went was 2006, have wondered about quilt shops, the only one I've gone to is Mistletoe Ranch in Hill City. Love the Black Hills, would love to live there, maybe someday. Am a Colorado native, kind of hard to leave family and friends. Quilt in a day is on channel 12 at 11:30 on Fridays here in Denver. She was doing a show on what to do with scraps. Have lots of those.
