I love the turning twenty pattern. FOr people like me who have no clue what they are doing, it is a dream come true. Has anyone ever done one if flannels? I have these amazing flannels that I bought in Pa., on vacation and they are intended for a flannel rag quilt, I was just wondering if I should stick to the rag quilt plan or attempt a turning twenty? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi Chrissy, sure you can do a TT in flannel. It's a very forgiving pattern and is quite large, too. I'm doing another one for my son for Christmas and I'm using flannels, cottons and homespuns. Great for large prints and scraps, too. Amie

Hi Chrissy,
I don't see why you can't do a raggy T20. I love that pattern and have made at least 10 already using regular cottons. I'd love to see a picture when it's done.

Gosh, I never though of a TT raggy. What an interesting idea. I think I will give a flannel TT a shot. Probably not the raggy one this time. It will only be my second quilt top. Now you ladies have me wondering if when I do the grandsons Philadelphia Eagles quilts with the print I got and black and white, if maybe I shouldn't try one in the TT. I appreciate your suggestions. Thank you

I haven't done the turning 20 in flannel but I did do a Yellow Brick Road in flannel... turned out really cute and cozy!
Only *Tip* I can give is DO NOT pull as you are sewing... it will get stretched and warped!
Good luck... and don't forget to share pictures!
Cheers!
