Wool Batting

Post by kenderosa » Sat Aug 16, 2008 9:20 am

Has anyone used the Hobbs Wool batting? If so, have there been any issues with bearding? Am wanting to use this product, but don't want any problems down the road.

Sue, I've used several different brands of wool batting, including the Hobbs, and never had any problems at all. I love wool batting! It gives your stitches such good definition, is wonderful to work with and drapes beautifully, I think you'll really like it.

I loved hand quilting the wool batting. The needle just sliped right through it. I have it in a large pillow top.
There has been no bearding.

Happy Quilting.....Kathy
