Flannel Rag Quilt Pattern question

My darling precious husband, packed me, my crutches, hot pink cast and wheelchair and we took a drive to Bird-in-Hand, Pa. While in a generic type fabric shop I fell in love with a flannel rag quilt pattern. I asked the shop owner if they sold the pattern and he said, not be any means. It was almost like you took the basic square of a flannel rag quilt and turned it on its side to make it more of a diamond shape. Then they took hearts and stars and sewed them into the squared, here and there. The thing I liked the most about the pattern were the edges. Instead of the quilt being a rectangle with straight sided, the sides were like triangles but yet a part of the quilt squares. It is all in the set up of the pattern i am sure. If anyone might know the name of this pattern I would really appreciate it. I am willing to buy from a shop or on line,or if someone has it and would like to sell it to me that would be wonderful. I got some amazing victorian cabbage rose type flannels and I think this pattern would be wonderful. Thank you
