Double Wedding Ring Quilt joining rings

I am beginning to put together my arcs and background. I don't understand the directions in Eleanor's Egg Money Quilts book. It looks like the squares that join all the circles (pinks and greens) are not sewn together even to each other until you have four arcs from 2 circles joined. Is this correct? TIA

I am not quite sure what you are asking, but wonder if you are thinking that the gray lines in the picture on page 109 are seams? I think they just indicate the center, each way, of the block (see Step 1 on page 107). When you get the arcs fused to the square, then you sew the corner triangles onto the block. Does this help?

Hi gmaann, looking at page 109--Step 2. It looks like after sewing the arcs to the background, the connecting wedges are left unattached until you sew two completed circles together. I think there is a completed circle laying underneath diagram A. You connect the two sets of arcs top one to bottom one-A- then you attach opposite seams together diagram-B. Or is this just showing you how to complete one total circle?
