Chunky Bloomers

Post by Chrissy1 » Sat Jul 19, 2008 12:53 pm

Has anyone heard of a pattern called two blocks? It appears to be very similar to turning 20 except there seem to be only two blocks. One square and one rectangular. I am getting the pattern tomorrow but wondered if anyone has done it? thank you
The pattern is actually called Chunky Bloomers. You use floral fabrics to make it, you have a big block and a smaller one, thus chunky bloomers. I also learned how to make this really neat block out of a nine block. Don't think I will ever try it but it was such fun watching what the lady from Calico Gals did

Is this the Chunky Bloomers block? It's known as Chopping Block too. It's a great pattern for a flannel quilt and good to use up the bigger scraps.
