Does anyone know where I can get fabric with the Afghan? A friend has one of these dogs and asked if I could make her a small quilt to lay across the bottom of the bed, for the dog...I'd love to be able to use this fabric....Any help will be greatly appreciated..

Littlebit -

I'm using this one

with black and red in a tossed 9 patch (disappearing 9 patch?) for my 2 dog crates. The "princess" will have to have something a little more girlie, but this was perfect for the boys. I'll post pics when I get them done. They are really nice!

We had an Afghan hound many years ago. Not only was he *gorgeous* but he had a ton of personality! A LOT of work keeping his coat nice, but he was such a love, it was worth it. We still tell funny stories about him.

SewCarolyn, That fabric is gorgeous....I'm sending all this information to my friend and have her pick...Too many for me to decide....
CaroleJ, From being around my friend's, I can imagine what a joy they are...I have heard her say how hard it is to keep him groomed, but it sure is worth it....He is blonde and he sits in the front seat of the car and it really looks like a long haired girl sitting there...
Thanks for all the help....
