Has anyone made one from Els book??? Is it easy? m always afraid to try a new pattern, but Id like to make one for my round table...

Her log cabin was the first quilt I ever made and it was pretty easy considering I was a beginner.

Caroline, It should be easy. I haven't made this one but my mom has. It is easy as the log cabin block is the easiest one to do and I'm sure you will have no trouble at all. Let us know how you make out.

But this quilt is "round" and even has a lace edging. Wouldn't that make it more difficult? It looks like there are several "panels" along with the regular log cabin block.

Caroline, you are experienced enough to do ANY QIAD quilt. You KNOW that Eleanor makes the instructions so clear and has the easiest methods!
