I am trying to put together fabric to make a Quick Trip quilt. It is on Page 15 ov El's Quick Trip book. My son is a Marine and I want to make it for him. I fell in love with this quilt when I first saw it. I have found most of these fabrics or at least something simular. I am still looking for one. #4 which is like #9 only with a white or off white background. It is Hoffman 'celebrate'. It does not have to be excat but simular is ok. I was only able to find a couple that were same as book. I am improvising.

*FIRST let me tell you that I have searched for months. Starting right here of course and was informed by QIAD that they no longer have these fabrics. I searched the web until I can't see the screen. I'll tell you there is so much out there. You go to an auction site and then the auction will link you to a store page. So on and so forth. I've gone to several LQS.

MY PLEA....I am asking if anyone here may have this in their stash. I only need a half yard. Please PM me if you have it and are willing to sell a piece to me.

You might want to check out this web site. This place is a warehouse of fabrics. www.fabricdepot.com and their phone number is 1-888 896-1478. They have over 9000 quilting fabrics and if you can't find the exact fabric you might be able to find something very close. Oh they are in Oregon so they are on Pacific Coast time.

Thanks, I have searched the web far and wide. That is why I was wondering if someone here just might have it in their stash. I'm giving it another week then I'll use what ever I find. I have it all cut except this one I don't have. Can't wait to get started.

I've heard of people using printed treasures to reproduce a fabric when they didn't have enough and couldn't find more. It would be expensive, but it might work.

I have a little less than a fat quarter and would be glad to mail it to you. I sent you a PM saying I would look for it but I found some.

It was donated to me for a quilts of valor quilt that I make all the time so it would be very fitting for your quilt.

Whoops..I think you need a white background. Mine is just like your picture.
