Re: Color catchers
Shout makes the color catcher sheets and they work very well. You will find them in the laundry section of your grocery store.

Re: Color catchers
I have a quilt that I made when I first starting quilting. It has a lot of red in it and I did not wash the fabric before quilting. This weekend I washed the quilt. I have a large washer and I put it on the most gentle cycle. I used Shout Color Catchers. I almost cried when I looked in the washing machine.....the water was bright red. I had 3 color catchers in the water. When the quilt was washed I took it out of the washer....it was in perfect shape and the 3 color catchers were bright red. I dont know how it works, but I am sure glad I thought to put them in the washer with the quilt. I showed the catchers to my family and they were amazed.
