Is there anyone out there who can help me with this block??? It's making me a little crazy, or should I say crazier. LOL For some reason, those small flying geese units just aren't turning out the right size. I would certainly appreciate any tips you have. Oh, BTW, I'm using stash fabrics only - yay! Will post when the top is put together.
Thanks,
crzyquilter

I made this block real recently

) Anyway I had to sit at my machine with the book and make sure that it was lined up exactly like the picture and check and double check to make sure it was right, they are short and squatty - not made like El's flying geese at all, that's for sure, keep trying, you will get it, Oh don't forget to mark your fabric like it shows in the book

Patience is a virtue so they say, except in quilting when you want it done now! Make sure every thing is cut right, have the book next to you like littlebit said, take a deep breath, go slow and it will work. Sometimes when this happens to me, I put it aside and go on to something else entirely like the laundry or whatever. My first quilting instructor said if you've taken it apart 3 times you have likely torn up the fabric and need to start over anyway. I am so glad to see somebody else doing this quilt.
